495 Movers were very patient with us as our office move was delayed several months. They continued to be patient with us and helped with packing and clearing out the old office. They also set up all the furniture in the new space and were very accommodating when I asked that some piece be moved to other offices, despite my initial direction. Just really careful with the items and patient with me. I so appreciate their help during this very big move.
Money well spent
This was my first time with a moving company. I appreciated the local company approach as compared to the national firms. I had all my questions answered right away and the team customized my move to what I needed. On the day of the move Milton and his crew- Claudia, Gabriel, Rodrigo, Edwin- were super efficient and courteous even at the end of a very long day. My things arrived safely at the other end. Partial Pack, Store, and Move
We were planning a move, and quality was more important than price. We did not want our precious things hurt in the move. Our move was local, but in two stages. In the first stage of our move, we planned to pack-up and move some of our stuff and store it while selling our current house. The second stage comes after we buy a new house, and we will want to move all our stuff to the new house. In the second stage we plan on packing up and moving the rest of our stuff from our old house plus moving the stuff that was stored by 495 Movers. In the first stage, we had a very positive experience with the initial pack-up and move. Leo, the supervisor of the packing and moving team, paid attention to our desires and communicated those desires to his team. In the packing, we were so impressed by how quickly and pleasantly his team worked, but also how carefully they packed all our precious possessions, with the same care that they might if those had been their own possessions. We look forward to the second stage of our move going as positively as the first stage.
Prompt and Efficient
495 Movers provided a three-man crew. They showed up, went over what needed to be moved and got right to work. They were courteous, efficient and handled my belongings with care. My move estimation was 6 hours and they finished in 4 (they never stopped moving). From booking to completion, everyone I talked to was professional and the follow-up was great also.
Excellent Commercial Move
We arranged a commercial move and had to change the date. 495 Movers made it easy - they showed up on time, loaded up the furniture and trash, and quickly moved everything to our storage space. The service was friendly, speedy, and professional. The cost was competitive and worth it since they took the trash for us. We are using them for part two of our move.
Great Experience
I needed to move a small one-unit bedroom furniture from my location in northern VA to FL. I was hesitant at first to go to 495 Movers as I didn't see them on a national scale -but I am glad I did. They came on time, were flexible on price and date and were very professional.
Smooth Maryland Move
Great experience! Team showed up on time and unloaded everything from our storage unit in a fast efficient matter. They then moved everything into the house and reassembled all of our furniture without evening needing directions. Overall great experience and I would recommend. to anyone trying to move in the DMV area.
Excellent Service
I was told that my service was scheduled between 0800 and 0900 and by 0815 the crew lead was calling me to let me know they were on their way. They started packing at 0830, followed my directions as to what I wanted and by noon all was downloaded at the storage location. All were very polite. I 100% recommend this company.
Great experience - will use again
Really great experience with 495 Movers. Dean provided a virtual estimate which made me feel comfortable that we would not have any surprise extra fees on moving day. We had a great professional and efficient crew led by Gustavo show up to load up the truck, including Milton who drove our truck from DC to FL. Milton ensured our truck was unpacked, furniture was put back together, and boxes were in the most convenient spots for us to unpack. We had an excellent experience and really cannot recommend them enough. If we move again, we'll definitely call them first.
